We support Jurek Owsiak and popularize science!

CENTERA's new employee, Dr. Jakub Kierdaszuk came up with an exciting idea of cooperation with the Jurek Owsiak Foundation. Combining business with pleasure, he put up a tour of the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw at the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity auction. Jakub not only shared his passion for STEM but also presented his science popularization talent while playing a role of a tour guide for pupils from School No. 1 in Rajcza.

The trip was put up for auction by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity and was won by Mrs. Iwona Terlecka. Mrs. Iwona and her talented students from Rajcza got to know the student and research space of the Faculty of Physics, including the THz laboratory of CENTERA employee, prof. dr hab. Jerzy Łusakowski. The trip was an excellent opportunity to encourage students to study physics and to present an opportunity for professional development in STEM.
